Our Missions

Our Focus Areas

Transform the Indian space sector to achieve full reusability, reduce space debris, and fill the structural support gap in space research across the Asia Pacific region for the first time

Emerging from our college years, we’ve engaged in the production and testing of various prototypes. These included static solid motor tests, parachute ejection tests, and rockets that reached a height of 10,000 feet.

PIEDS and the TBI Society of BITS Pilani serves as our incubators, offering financial assistance, mentorship, and infrastructure support in Hyderabad. Their invaluable support and our technical mentorship of Mr. D. Sarveson, Dr. Raju Thomas, Roy M Cherian, Ex-ISRO Scientists has been instrumental in developing India’s first plug-and-play rocket engine testing facility, where we conducted over 150 hot fire tests of our 2.5 kN non-cryogenic engine. We are proud to announce that, through these tests, we have successfully mastered the Pintle Injection mechanism.

Our Projects

Plug & Play Rocket Engine Testing Facility

For the first time in the Asia-Pacific region, we have developed a Plug & Play Rocket Engine Testing Facility, specifically designed to test engines up to 50 kN thrust. This facility, located at the Hyderabad campus of BITS Pilani, is fully equipped with all necessary tools, software, and equipment, and has been operational for testing starting February 2024. As the recognized Space Tutor of ISRO, our mission is to make SpaceTech more accessible to the next generation. Therefore, we are proud to launch the “Centre for Innovation & Exploration of Space Technology (CIEST)” to replicate this Plug & Play Facility in all the universities across India.

Reusable Sounding Rocket (RSR)

For the first time in the Asia Pacific region, we are developing Suborbital Reusable Sounding Rocket (RSR), which is India’s First Reusable Rocket which is vertically launched and vertically landed (VTVL), being expected to launch in December 2026. Our RSR helps Pan-Asia SpaceTech companies for their Microgravity Experiments, Simulated Gravity Experiments, Atmospheric and Academic Study, and Meteorological Data Collection at low cost and Launch-On-Demand.

Small Reusable Launch Vehicle (SRLV)

For the first time in the Asia Pacific region, we are developing a Small Reusable Launch Vehicle (SRLV) with two-stage-to-orbit, expected to launch in December 2027. Our SRLV helps every Space Tech company launch their satellites into the low earth orbit (LEO) having payload up to 1500 kg and into sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) up to 800 kg, with cost efficient and Launch-On-Demand.

Medium Reusable Launch Vehicles

First time in Asia Pacific region, we are developing Medium Reusable Launch Vehicle (MRLV), with two-stage-to-orbit, being expected to launch in December 2028. Our SRLV helps Space Tech companies for launching their satellites into the low earth orbit (LEO) having payload up to 15000 kg, into sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) up to 9000 kg and into geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) up to 2000 kg.
