About us
Advancing Reusability in Space and Defense Technology in India
- Vision & Mission
- Goals & Objectives
- Strategies
As India sets its sights on establishing its own space station by 2035, launching space tourism, and sending its first astronaut into space, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has invited the industry to collaborate in developing a reusable rocket capable of carrying heavier payloads into orbit. ISRO plans to finalize the design of the Next-Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV) within a year and offer it to the industry for production, with the inaugural launch tentatively scheduled for 2030. The NGLV is envisioned as a three-stage rocket powered by green fuel combinations such as methane and liquid oxygen or kerosene and liquid oxygen. Inspired by the initiatives of ISRO and the Government of India, we have emerged as India’s first private space tech company to develop reusable rockets with specialized re-ignitable and throttleable cryogenic engines
Our Vision
To Place India As World’s Indigenous Reusable & Reliable Space Launch Infrastructure
Our Mission
To Develop Cost-effective, Cutting-edge Tech Reusable Launch Vehicles to Resolve Space Debris
In addition to our orbital launch vehicles, our immediate goal is the development of the Suborbital Reusable Sounding Rocket (RSR). This initiative expands our capability to support the space ecosystem by conducting various research tests in meteorology, weather forecasting, microgravity experiments, basic and applied biological research, agrotechnology data collection, media advertising, and other research experiments in the D and E layers of the atmosphere
Launch On
Demand
Our objective is to revolutionize the current wait times for satellite companies by drastically reducing them. To achieve this, we are focused on building multiple launch vehicles, to cater to the anticipated future demand for daily, on-demand launches. By providing frequent and reliable launch opportunities, we aim to support the growing needs of the space industry and enable quicker deployment of satellites and other payloads.
Launch Cost
minimization
Our objective is to systematically reduce the cost of launching into space over a period of time. By achieving this, we aim to make space travel more accessible and affordable, ultimately enabling space tourists to experience the thrill of a launch (Launch for a Lunch). This initiative is geared towards creating new opportunities for commercial space travel and opening up the wonders of space exploration to a broader audience
Taking inspiration from Shree APJ Abdul Kalam Sir’s words, “The youth need to be enabled to become job generators from the job seekers” we devised a preliminary strategy to build a strong foundation with Young India Engineers. We organized training classes for over 3,500 engineers across 12+ batches as Registered Space Tutors of ISRO. Remarkably, more than 25 of our young engineers have published research papers.
With this solid groundwork, we embarked on our primary mission, receiving financial and infrastructural support from the Pilani Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Society (PIEDS), a registered society by Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS Pilani), alongside ample technical support from our mentors and advisors
Achieved Milestones
- Successfully designed and manufactured the TDM for GNCS
- Innovatively developed our own Thrust Vector Control (TVC) system
- Built and Operationalized Plug & Play Rocket Engine Testing Facility at Hyderabad First-of-the-kind in India
- Achieved mastery of the Pintle Injection System for the first time in India
- Conducted over 150 rigorous tests of 2.5kN Battleship Engine and gathered sufficient results for scale up
Focused Milestones
- Upgrading our Battleship Engine to a Flight-Ready Engine
- Developing the TDM for our Reusable Sounding Rocket by Early 2026
- Scaling up TDM Vehicle to the Reusable Sounding Rocket and to Launch by end of 2026
About our Achievements
Milestones are sometimes best measured by our integrity rather than our accomplishments. We are committed to progress and will achieve our missions within the set timelines. Watch the video to witness our achievements over the three short years since our inception.
Without serious allocation of time and resources, it would be impossible to do justice to our goals – both personal and professional.
