As an HR Associate, you will be supporting the human resources department in various administrative and operational tasks. You will work closely with the founders and HR Advisor to ensure efficient HR processes and maintain positive employee relations within the organisation. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR data management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and coordination of interviews.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires
- Assist in preparing offer letters, employment contracts, and new hire paperwork
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including orientation and introduction to company policies and procedures
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing support and addressing their HR-related queries.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts, escalating issues to HR managers as necessary
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and assist in fostering a positive work environment
- Support benefits enrolment processes and provide assistance to employees with benefits-related inquiries
- Collaborate with external providers to ensure accurate and timely administration of employee benefits programs
- Assist employees with leave management, including tracking time off and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
4.HR Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in HR databases and files
- Generate reports and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and provide insights to HR management.
- Assist in the preparation of HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, policies, and procedures
5.Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable labour laws, regulations, and company policies
- Participate in HR audits and support the implementation of corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to contribute to process improvements
