As a Communication Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s communication efforts, both internally and externally. You will assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies, create compelling content, and maintain effective communication channels. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, a creative mindset, and a passion for effective communication
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Create engaging and informative content for various communication channels, including website, blog posts, social media, newsletters, and internal communications.
- Conduct research and gather relevant information to support communication initiatives and campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and information for communication materials.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all communication channels and materials.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries, comments, and feedback received through various communication channels.
- Maintain and update the organization's website and social media platforms with fresh and engaging content.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, such as conferences, seminars, and webinars, including logistics, content development, and promotion.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in communication, and suggest innovative ideas to enhance communication efforts.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in communication, public relations, or a related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and email marketing software
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and ability to use design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for online content creation.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude, creativity, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Working Laptop with basic software.
- Must be comfortable stooping, bending, and standing
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed to resolve critical technical issues.
